CONC-1001: What Is Concordance and How is it Useful?

An overview of Concordance’s core functionality. This class is designed for those who manage people who work with Concordance and need to know how Concordance fits into the daily practice of law. Also good for persons who work with other software and want to raise their awareness of other solutions in the legal marketplace.

CONC-1101: Moving around in Concordance

Allows the student to gain awareness of how Concordance’s interface operates to best utilize all its functions. This class is foundational and required for all other classes.

No prerequisites, but is required for all other classes.

CONC-1201: Concordance and Effective Searching

Learn the most common searching techniques to become an effective searcher

Prerequisite (Pre): 1101

CONC-1301: Tagging, Editing and Printing Records in Concordance

As you search and find important documents to the case, learn how to effectively tag and/or edit records to reflect your thoughts about the document in relation to the case.

Pre: 1101, 1201

CONC-1401: Concordance Image Basics

This class will allow you to conduct most of the basic functions of working with an image while conducting a document review. Learn how to manipulate the image, use the basic mark-up functions as well as printing. Basic searching will also be covered.

Pre: 1101

CONC-1501: Working with a Transcript Database

This class covers all you’ll need to know about transcripts databases, from creation to loading transcripts to work product creation.

Pre: 1101

CONC-1601: Working with ESI as an End-user

This session will cover working with emails and their attachments, as well as miscellaneous files in their native form. Learn how to search effectively and how Concordance deals with family groupings.
